This group of vases includes one of my favorite styles both for ikebana and western flower arranging: the "boat" shape. It is easy to abstract and still retain its recognition as a boat.

This page shows some Suibans and Kohiki vessels and will also include the low and mid height bowls often used in various kinds of ikebana.
